Opus I

First released on October 28, 2016, Opus I was the first set in the worldwide relaunch of the Final Fantasy Trading Card Game. Opus I was launched with little fanfare and with no pre-release, however, game stores were provided with prize packs containing three special promo cards that could be given out during locally hosted events. The art on the Booster Box set and the booster packs featured Lightning from Final Fantasy XIII and included characters from XIII and many other Final Fantasy games.
This set includes:
- 78 Common Cards.
- 60 Rare Cards.
- 34 Hero Cards.
- 14 Legend Cards.
- 30 Starter Cards, Non-Foil versions from the starter decks only.
- 216 Premium Foil Cards.
While not officially included in the set there are 3 promotional cards, in both foil and non-foil versions, that where given to game stores to use as rewards to participants in local store events.
