Final Fantasy VII Rebirth launch stream on Twitch to feature the game’s cast

We’re less than 48 hours away from the launch of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth and Square Enix is celebrating with an official launch stream on February 28 at 1 p.m. PST on their Twitch channel. There are no details on what exactly awaits viewers during this online shindig, but the Final Fantasy VII Rebirth team has announced the list of personalities that’ll be featured.

The special event is being hosted by former IGN correspondent and current radio host, Naomi Kyle, along with professional AWE wrestler and content creator, Kenny Omega. They’ll be joined by a veritable party of special guests consisting of Rebirth’s voice cast. Announced to be on hand during the festivities will be voice actor John Eric Bentley, who portrays Barret, Britt Baron, who voices Tifa, Briana White, who voices Aerith, Suzie Yeung, who voices Yuffie, and the voice of Red XIII, Max Mittelman.

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth launches officially on February 29, but digital preorders will be playable by 9 p.m. the night before for those on the West Coast. Fans eager to play will be able to enjoy the launch stream and then dive into the game just a few hours later.

You can head to X (formally Twitter) for the official launch stream announcement.
