Yuffie fans rejoice! After being featured in the recent “New Year: The Wily Hunter” seasonal event, Yuffie will finally be playable in Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis in a new update dropping on January 11 at 6:00 p.m. PST. And to go along with the pint-sized Wutai operative, they’ll also be releasing Chapter 5 in the Final Fantasy VII narrative called The Wide, Wide, World.
Just as Yuffie would’ve wanted, the Ever Crisis team is making a big fuss over her grand debut with the expertly named “Yuffie Joining Soon Official X Campaign.” This community social media campaign will take the engagement totals of both the English and Japanese Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis X accounts and then award players with some in-game gifts after certain engagement goals are met. Details on prizes are below.
All you have to do to participate is repost the official contest announcement on X and hop into the Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis Discord and react to the contest announcement there. The campaign runs until January 11 at 6:59 a.m.
