The Game Awards have announced their nominees and the Final Fantasy banner continues its momentum with eight total nominations following a strong showing in the Golden Joystick Awards 2023.
The Final Fantasy nods are split between Final Fantasy XVI, Final Fantasy XIV, Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis, and Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. Here are all the awards Square Enix’s Final Fantasy teams are vying for in 2023.

It’s been a strong year for video games, which means the competition is steep for 2023’s main title Final Fantasy entry. But with Ben Starr and Final Fantasy VII Rebirth taking home Golden Joystick Awards this month, and Final Fantasy XIV defending its title as Best Ongoing Game, it’s clear that the Final Fantasy brand still packs a punch when it comes to voter consideration.
