Final Fantasy XIV’s Growing Light patch notes were released today, giving us a clear look at all the new adventures we can dive into in the upcoming 6.5 patch.
Growing Light will be a two-part content drop that marks the beginning of the end of the Endwalker storyline. The patch notes detail the first half of Growing Light, 6.5, which includes new main scenario quests and an all-new dungeon and trial. While we won’t know the specifics of the story until we play it ourselves, official screenshots provided by Square Enix reveal the exciting return of Ryne!
The 6.5 patch will also be giving players the third and final installment of the Myths of the Realms alliance raid series, Thaleia. There’s also a new extreme instance, additions to Island Sanctuary, hefty buffs to the Paladin and Red Mage jobs, and several quality-of-life changes to shops and other player menus. The 6.5 patch drops tomorrow, October 3, 2023, while the second half of Growing Light, patch 6.55, has no official release date.
