Final Fantasy: Brave Exvius goes away on October 30 Headline Image This is a sad day for Final Fantasy: Brave Exvius fans. The game’s development team announced on social media that they’ll be discontinuing app service for the game on October 30 of this year. Here is the full notice published on the game’s official Facebook page.   Final Fantasy: Brave Exvius is a free-to-play mobile game developed by Alim and published by Square Enix. It was a one-of-a-kind collaboration allowing for a unique gaming experience that smashed together Final Fantasy elements with Alim’s Brave Frontier. Final Fantasy XIV’s The Rising seasonal event is back! Headline Image The Rising, the annual in-game event that celebrates Final Fantasy XIV’s relaunch as A Realm Reborn, returns today! You can take in the sights and sounds of this year’s festivities now until September 11. The Rising is basically FFXIV New Year's. Players can enjoy all the celebratory decor, catch a fireworks show as it lights up the nighttime sky, and do some light questing for cool event rewards. This year, head to the Upper Decks of Limsa Lominsa with a level 15 character and speak with the Wandering Minstrel (X:11.3, Y:13,7). You’ll be able to start your PC adventure in the world of Valisthea on September 17, 2024, via Steam and the Epic Games Store. You can preorder just the base game for $50 or upgrade to the Final Fantasy XVI Complete Edition for twenty dollars more. The Complete Edition comes with the base game and both the “Echoes of the Fallen” and “The Rising Tide” DLC packs. Final Fantasy VII Rebirth creators are streaming a special event tomorrow Headline Image Producer Yoshinori Kitase and director Naoki Hamaguchi, two of the integral minds behind Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, will be streaming live from Boulevard City in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia for a special behind-the-scenes look at Rebirth’s development. Called “Summoning the Masterpiece,” the event was announced on official Final Fantasy VII social media accounts. FFXIV Shadow Data Center is being shut down this month Headline Image Back in May, the Final Fantasy XIV team announced Shadow, a new European Data Center being added to help mitigate login congestion during the Dawntrail launch period. Today, it’s been announced that Shadow and its probational worlds will be retired on August 27. These are the Shadowbringers-branded probational worlds being shut down. The Dawntrail: Final Fantasy XIV OST Blu-Ray arrives in October Headline Image The team at Final Fantasy XIV announced today that the physical version of Dawntrail’s original soundtrack (OST) is available for preorder and will be launching on Wednesday, October 30, 2024. According to the announcement post on Lodestone, the OST will feature 66 tracks from the game’s latest expansion, Dawntrail, including bops and “stunning visuals” from the Arcadion: Light-heavyweight raids that became playable last month.
