Today is the first day of the Final Fantasy XIV Fan Festival being held in Las Vegas, USA. The festival opened up with a keynote address from Final Fantasy XIV's producer Naoki Yoshida, also known as YoshiP. There were many announcements for the upcoming plans for Final Fantasy XIV. Final Fantasy XIV Themed Turntable Announced

Today Square Enix announced that they will be releasing a new Final Fantasy XIV-themed turntable is now available for pre-order. The model SQ-1500 is a custom version of the Technics SL-1500C that has a sleek black and gold colored theme which is adorned with the iconic Realm Reborn meteor logo as well as symbols representing the Twelve and even using the Eorzean alphabet on the switches. This unique design was chosen by Final Fantasy XIV's lead composer and sound director Masayoshi Soken. Just like the SL-1500C the SQ-1500 features a direct drive motor along with a built-in Phono equalizer and bunbled cartridge making it easy to connect to a wide range of audio equipment. Final Fantasy X Kabuki show to be streamed worldwide

This past spring a Kabuki adaptation of Final Fantasy X titled "New Final Fantasy X Kabuki" was performed at the Stage Around Tokyo. Today the Kinoshita Group along with Square Enix have announced that, for a limited time, they will be releasing a recorded stream of the Kabuki performance for fans all around the world to watch. The show will be available from July 19 to October 31, 2023 and will run in 2 parts with a total run time of just under 6 hours. The tickets are going to cost 4,000 yen for both parts of the show, and don't worry if you don't speak Japanese because there will be English subtitles available with the videos.
