Today is the first day of the Final Fantasy XIV Fan Festival being held in Las Vegas, USA. The festival opened up with a keynote address from Final Fantasy XIV's producer Naoki Yoshida, also known as YoshiP. There were many announcements for the upcoming plans for Final Fantasy XIV. Here is a rundown of some of the notable announcements. Dawntrail Final Fantasy XIV 7.0 The next expansion was announced with the name "Dawntrail". Today Square Enix announced that they will be releasing a new Final Fantasy XIV-themed turntable is now available for pre-order. The model SQ-1500 is a custom version of the Technics SL-1500C that has a sleek black and gold colored theme which is adorned with the iconic Realm Reborn meteor logo as well as symbols representing the Twelve and even using the Eorzean alphabet on the switches. This unique design was chosen by Final Fantasy XIV's lead composer and sound director Masayoshi Soken. This past spring a Kabuki adaptation of Final Fantasy X titled "New Final Fantasy X Kabuki" was performed at the Stage Around Tokyo. Today the Kinoshita Group along with Square Enix have announced that, for a limited time, they will be releasing a recorded stream of the Kabuki performance for fans all around the world to watch. The show will be available from July 19 to October 31, 2023 and will run in 2 parts with a total run time of just under 6 hours.
