It is now the end of July and big things have been happening in the Final Fantasy world this past month but that has not slowed us down here. We have been enjoying all the new things happening, and I have been personally enjoying the new Dawntrail expansion for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. Still, we have also been working hard to bring you more information about the series you love. Over the past month, we have added the full story, including the two DLCs, for Final Fantasy XVI. We have also added the full story Last Order: Final Fantasy VII. Alongside that, we have been working on adding detailed information for cards in the Final Fantasy Trading Card Game (Opus) and so far we have added the first 102 cards of the Opus I set.
For August we will continue adding more card information to the site and more story writeups for different Movies and maybe some of the TV/Anime series as well as finishing up preparations to start our deep focus on Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. We are also going to be getting prepared for a site redesign as requested by a lot of users. The redesign work is slated to start in late September or early October and will be done by a professional website designer. Matthew, who handles the programming side of things, will be working with this designer to come up with a new layout that improves how information is displayed and the navigation of the site for desktop, tablet, and phone users. The goal is to have the redesign completed by the end of October and give users an even better place to come to.
We would also like to thank those users who have provided feedback to us which has led to the choice to bring on a professional designer as well as pointing out a few bugs on the site, like our search pages sometimes not working, so we can continue to improve the site.
