There’s no rest for the weary.
Only two days after the launch of Final Fantasy XIV’s newest major expansion, Dawntrail, Director Naoki Yoshida, aka Yoshi-P, addressed player concerns and feedback regarding several jobs. In his Lodestone update, Yoshi-P described changes impacting jobs in all roles, including Viper and Pictomancer, the latest jobs introduced in Dawntrail. According to Yoshi-P, the Final Fantasy XIV development team is working hard to rectify these balancing issues and players can expect these changes to arrive as early as Patch 7.01 or in Patch 7.05.
Before diving into the meat of his message, it’s important to note that his short update is not all-encompassing. Other player concerns and job issues will be addressed in future updates. These are the glaring balancing issues they believe are presently impacting the player experience the most based on feedback.
