In a display of fun, seasonal efficiency, two of Final Fantasy XIV's annual events are being combined into one colorful, egg-tastic event. Little Ladies’ Day and Hatching-tide will be “two festivals joined by a blossoming dream” from March 14 until April 1.
The Lodestone event page provides no story context to explain this event mashup, but the starting quest will be found in Old Gridania for characters level 15 and above. Find the NPC Jihli Aliapoh at X:10.2, Y:9.4, and pick up the quest entitled “The Princesses and the Eggs.” Take on this whimsical questline and earn the Peatie Horn for the Peatie mount which is basically a pink version of the Laurel Goobbue mount earned via the Sylph Beast Tribe in East Shroud.
Final Fantasy XIV seasonal events are known for their elaborate in-game decorations inspired by each unique holiday and, in the past, both Little Ladies’ Day and Hatching-tide were two of the most colorful. With the two becoming one in 2024, decorations are being done a little differently. Seasonal decorations will vary by each city with Old Gridania taking on Hatching-tide decor and Ul’dah adopting the pinks and florals of Little Ladies’ Day. In true Lima Lominsa fashion, the coastal city will be doing its own thing and observing both in-game holidays on a schedule. Little Ladies’ Day decorations will be strung from March 14 to March 22 before being swapped to Hatching-tide trimming from March 22 to April 1.
