Final Fantasy XIV is holding another Free Login Campaign between now and June 20. If you’ve been away from Eorzea, this is a great time to check out current in-game events like the Yo-Kai Watch and Fall Guys collaborations for free before the next expansion, Dawntrail, launches on July 2.
Why this is considered a promotion for returning players becomes clear when you look at the eligibility requirements.

Have previously purchased and registered FINAL FANTASY XIV.

All registered service accounts must be set as inactive during the campaign period.

Registered service accounts must have been inactive for at least thirty days.
Additionally, all platforms are eligible as long as the account being used has been registered for that platform.
Returning Final Fantasy XIV players who meet all these requirements get up to 96 hours of free playtime; however, it’s up to the player to get as much out of that time as possible. The clock starts the moment they log into the game for the first time and continues to wind down whether they’re playing or not. The free period ends on the fourth day since their first login at 11:59 p.m. PDT.
