Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis is headed to PC through Steam on December 7, 2023, according to the official Ever Crisis X account.
The PC launch jovially aligns with “The Holy Flame’s Gift” Christmas event running now until December 25. As part of the festivities, the Holy Flames Gloves for Tifa and the Holiday Revolver for Lucia are currently available as weapon draws. Additionally, if Santa Tifa is on your holiday wish list, the ultra-adorable Fairy of the Holy Flame gear is available from the Stamp Card along with Lucia’s Holiday Coat.
There’s also a special seasonal story and Present Leveling Battle system involving a giant, present-stealing gingerbread "Giftuar" that can earn players more holiday-themed awards.
By playing through the event and raising their Present Levels, players can earn more exchangeable items in Score Battles that can be traded in for limited-time weapons and character memories. In Score Battles, the amount of exchangeable items earned is determined by the amount of damage imposed on the boss. More damage equals more rewards, so go all offense and wail on that mischievous Cactuar as hard as you can!
We knew Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis was coming to PC soon as the game’s store page was added to Steam just last week, but it’s great that they won’t be making PC players wait too much longer to join the Ever Crisis fold. And on top of being able to jump into the game in the middle of a major seasonal event, they’ve also confirmed that new players will be treated to the same free bonuses gifted to new players on mobile.
This is what’s waiting for new players who join the fun.

The Ever Crisis team confirmed via a post on the game's official X (formally Twitter) account that the Steam version of Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis would support Link Data with the mobile version. Players with existing accounts in the mobile version will be able to keep their progression when using the new Steam version when it launches on December 7. Likewise, players that start their Ever Crisis journey on Steam will be able to maintain all progression when playing on mobile.
