If you love Final Fantasy XIV and have nowhere to be between 4:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Pacific Standard Time (PST) on November 26, consider participating in the cloud data center login cap stress test.
The team at Final Fantasy XIV has been testing the viability of cloud data centers since November 20, and while they’ve gathered lots of data on zone stability with the help of player testers from around the world, testing stress on the login cap is an important next step. But to get the most value out of the test, they need as many players as possible logged in during the designated time window.
If you’ve already been participating in this week’s cloud data center testing, all you have to do is log into the CloudTest01 World between 4:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. PST on November 26. It doesn’t matter what you’re doing in-game during the testing window, just don’t log off before it’s over.
If you’re joining the CloudTest01 server for the first time, just create a character, log in during the designated time window, and enjoy going wild with all the stuff being given to all test server characters not connected to free trial accounts.
These are all the goodies test characters can play around with.
-
Tales of Adventure: Shadowbringers
-
Copies of Tales of Adventure III for each job
-
A full set of level 80 accessories for each role
-
99 Magicked Prisms (Meteor Survivor)
-
99 Bombard Blooms
-
50 million gil
It’s important to note that all character data on test cloud servers will be deleted when the test ends on November 27. More information on the cloud data center login cap stress test can be found on The Lodestone.
