The latest Final Fantasy VII Rebirth patch fixes quest-breaking bug

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth players waking up on the West Coast will notice that Patch 1.030 has arrived. This nearly 5 GB update fixes a handful of bugs, including the Chapter 12 “Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop” bug that prevented players from finishing the sidequest even after completing all its requirements.

Here’s a rundown of the Version 1.030 patch notes.

Note that players who experienced the bug will need to complete the G Bike minigame requirements again following the update. If you’ve cleared the quest already, the update will not impact your completion.

Patch 1.030 fixes a Chapter 12 bug that impeded progress in a G Bike-related sidequest.

Patch 1.030 comes a few weeks after the Performance Mode enhancing Patch 1.020. It was after the release of 1.020 that players began reporting issues with the “Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop” questline.
