Square Enix has released a launch trailer on their Final Fantasy YouTube channel for Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis which is set for launch on September 7, 2023, for iOS and Android mobile devices. Square Enix has also announced they will be attending the PAX West 2023 convention taking place at the Seattle Convention Center from September 1 to September 4. Attendees who visit the booth will be able to get some play time on unreleased games like the upcoming Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis and take a picture with a giant photo of Final Fantasy XVI's Ifrit. In honor of the ending of the adventure which started with Final Fantasy XIV's A Realm Reborn and to mark the start of a new adventure for the Warrior of Light in the upcoming expansion Dawntrial Square Enix is releasing a series of short stories titled "Tales Under the New Moon". There will be a total of four new stories in this series, giving you a deeper look into the diverse cast of characters the Warrior of Light has met in their journey. In celebration of Final Fantasy XIV's 10th anniversary, a special Moogle Treasure Trove event will be held in the game starting on Sunday, August 27, 2023, at 12:00 A.M. PDT and the event will run until the launch of Patch 6.5 in early October 2023. The Moogle Treasure Trove is a reoccurring event that runs to help keep players active and engaged in the game during long times of content lulls that reward players for running different dungeons, raids, and doing PvP events.
