During the September 23, 2023 Letter from the Producer Live event at the Tokyo Game Show. Final Fantasy XIV's Producer and Director Naoki Yoshida announced that the next patch for the game will be released on October 3, 2013. A new trailer for the patch was released on their YouTube page along with information on what will be in the patch. Along with the normal things like new main story quests, dungeons, trials, and raids. Starting today and going until October 11, 2023, a special collaboration crossover event is taking place in Final Fantasy Brave Exvius with the iconic Parasite Eve RPG. The crossover features two new in-game events where you can collect a commemorative Vision Card and claim a special login bonus to get various in-game items.

In celebration of the 10th anniversary of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn Square Enix has announced the release of a Table Top RPG based around the game. Both a starter kit and two books have been announced. A starter kit, a Standard Rulebook, and a Secnario and Gamemaster guide have been announced so far.
The starter kit is scheduled for release in May of 2024 for $59.99 and contains everything you and up to 4 friends need to start playing the new game including a player and gamemaster book, character sheets, rules guide, some special dice (d20s and d6s) as well as a map and some tokens.
There will also be a separate Standard Rulebook and a Scenario and Gamemaster book but no release date...

Square Enix has announced that the upcoming second installment of the Final Fantasy VII remake series Final Fantasy VII Rebirth will be released for the Sony PlayStation 5 on February 29, 2024. The game will be released in physical and digital versions with standard, deluxe, and collector editions available. There will also be a unique version "FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE & REBIRTH Twin Pack" which includes an immediately playable copy of Final Fantasy VII Remake INTERGRADE as well as a pre-order of the new Rebirth game.

Square Enix has announced the stage events lineup and a special guest for the 2023 Final Fantasy XIV Fan Festival that will be held in London starting Saturday, October 21, 202, and ending on Sunday, October 22, 2023. The special guest this year will be none other than the series founder himself Mr. Hironobu Sakaguchi.
There are a total of 11 stage events scheduled for the two-day event and Mr. Sakaguchi is listed as being on an event for each day. The first day's event is a panel where Mr. Sakaguchi is set to talk about his experiences adventuring through Eorzea as a Warrior of Light as well as participate in a fan Q&A session. PAX West started on Saturday and Square Enix held their Voices of Valisthea panel hosted by Final Fantasy XVI's producer Naoki Yoshida. At the panel, it was announced that at 8:00 PM Pacific Time, a free DLC for XVI would be released. The free DLC provides a glamour ability for Clive's weapon so it can look like other weapons but retain the equipped weapon's stats. There will also be a second set of outfits for Ambrosia, Clive, Jill, Joshua, and Torgal.
